Hi! I’m Mandy Wildman and I’m obsessed with upcycled sewing.
It just makes me crazy to see all the cheap, mass-produced clothes (and dolls!) that end up in our landfills today. The waste of our precious resources and the damage to our environment is intolerable, in my opinion. Plus making upcycled creations is FUN!
So more than a decade ago now I decided enough was enough, and started to make my living by creating magical garments and funny-looking handmade dolls using re-purposed clothing, scraps of fabric, vintage lace, cool old buttons and funky found objects.
Today I run the Refashion Rebels community which is all about making magical things your own way and discovering who you really, really are through the thrill of creativity.
